What can I expect from a Soccer Shots session?

Soccer Shots is a weekly 30-minute soccer session that teaches the game of soccer by focusing on basic skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting. The session is broken up into five sections: warm-up, skill, fun game, score a goal, and a scrimmage (modified for the younger ones). Through these fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active!

What equipment will my child need to participate?

Your child doesn’t need any special equipment – comfy clothes and sneakers are fine. Cleats and shin guards are not necessary. Our coaches will provide all the equipment needed at each session – soccer balls, goals, etc. (At public programs we do recommend bringing a water bottle.)

Will I receive a Soccer Shots jersey?

Jerseys are mailed out once per year when the annual enrollment fee is paid – please make sure you enter your most up to date mailing address when enrolling. This resets each fall season.

What is your inclement weather/makeup policy?

• Year-round Childcare Centers (paying monthly)
• There are four makeup sessions built into each year/school year. If we exceed four missed sessions, we will either choose a day to make it up or provide refunds/credits if a makeup day isn’t possible.
• Seasonal Childcare Centers
• We will make up a session either by finding another day of the week that works for the school and our coach, or we will add a week onto the season.
• Public programs/half-day preschools
• We monitor the weather the best we can and will notify you via text and email if we need to cancel a session. If a session is canceled,15 minutes will be added on to the end of the next two sessions. We only guarantee that a maximum of two sessions will be made up, but we do our best to make up all canceled sessions if the schedule allows.
